Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One Switch

The roguelite metroidvania game Dead Cells will leave early access and fully launch on August 7 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Priced at $24.99, the game currently has 20% off on console pre-orders. Physical editions are also available to pre-order at Signature Edition Games. New trailer inside.

I fully agree. Handcrafted pixel art can look great. In this case it's not really pixel art, but for the characters and animated stuff it's just very basic 3d vector graphics with a 2d pixelizing post-filter on top. No antialiasing, ugly and technically rather lame. If the static backgrounds are hand-pixelled, they sure were made in a hurry and the artist never heard about hand-pixelled anti-aliasing which can look great.
