GSY Video PS4 PC

Detroit: Become Human is finally available on PC but as expected, it's a lot demanding than its predecessors. We're still quite disappointed for the moment though, as even our RTX 2080 Ti drops frames down to the mid 40s in 1440p and ultra settings, which does not seem to be justified. We haven't had time to test how the game runs in 1080p, but framerate seems more stable with our configuration at least. There aren't a lot of graphics options to meddle with, but it may be possible to reach 60 fps in higher resolutions by lowering a bunch of settings. We'll see what we can do, but until then, here is the first chapter of the game in 4K with the pretty effective 30 fps cap.

Man what the hell ? Maybe the drivers need to be optimised but this seems like it's yet another poorly optimised PC port.

Poor optimisation obviously but such games feel good with cinematic 30 fps

I thought he said 2080ti can't get locked 60fps in 4k, but when I saw it's in 1440p I was like WHAT ???

Seth PC for me is best available platform, thanks to the huge games library and 60fps for all games. But still getting a new console for first parties... (4 Days ago)

Seth sry my mistake, ye i wanted to say that they are huge fans of first parties and ready to move on and wait ages for eventual pc port. (4 Days ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog there are people out there who are going to wait for PS5 before playing last of us 2. but even that sort of wait sounds far too excruciating to me. (4 Days ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog @Seth: i mean, it's a viable option, but if you were a big fan of sony exclusives to begin with you'd need to have an insane amount of patience to wait 3 years to play it on PC (4 Days ago)

  • Seth

Seth @KORNdog: yeah i don't see this happen anytime soon. it's why i find funny some people suddenly say ''i'm done, after 25 years with ps, moving to pc''. (4 Days ago)
