A demo for Detroit: Become Human is available since a couple of days on PS4 and allows to control Connor in the first scene of the game: Hostage. The full title will be out May 25.
I swear I remember from the trailers one of possible outcomes was Daniel shooting himself, but it's not one of 6 endings. Anyway, nice visuals, even after downgrade.

Try harder. No downgrade here. The game looks slightly cooler than the warmer colour setting of E3 2016 and that's about it lol. Something looking slightly different than before does not equal "downgrade".
Lesser draw distances, less character model detail, vastly inferior textures, missing detail in scenes, worse animations or physics is a downgrade. None of these things are evident in the newly released demo.
It seems you are just echoing that "downgrade" fiasco when that guy on YouTube released stream quality of the PSX 2017 demo that was put right beside E3 2016's direct feed footage. Most people caught on to this and the user was exposed. Other less informed people are apparently still in the dark about this and are throwing around false info.
I agree with Korn that Beyond Two Souls wasn't great. That decision to jump all over the place with the plot was just confusing. The PS4 remaster on Plus next month however has a mode in it that lets you play the game in proper chronological order which is way better.
