Here are the first in-game "scans" of Devil May Cry 4 developed by Capom for PS3. The game seems to look pretty good, and we will certainly get you some video footage during the TGS. Update : Better quality scans.
looks great. You can tell its capcom its got a lost planet sort of graphical thing about it. I hope this comes out for the 360 like rumoured. Gonna be a while before I can afford to splash out on a ps3.

And who started circulating these rumours? It clearly says "only for PlayStation 3" in that last teaser....

well it wasnt really a rumour as such. Capcom said because of the success of dead rising they may consider using the 360 for its primary franchises. And id say this is one of them. And your right I do have alot of time to save up being a brit and all, but its not really the saving up its the principle of it. Even if i had the money I wont pay full wack for it, im just gonna wait for a big price drop. Infact so far I only want it for this, MG4 and the FF series so I may just wait til I can find them all in a bargain bin.

i think i have to see this game in motion to truely judge it's visuals..i never used to think lost planet was visually great until i saw videos and played the demo of the game myself.
still, it's great to know a DMC game is being made...can't wait
On another note i don't care about the ps3's price i will definently get it..i just don't want to get the first batch..usually break down and are rushed into production and all..
I hope they make a MGS4 + ps3 bundle..that's what i would get.
I think id only get a ps3 at that price if blu ray really took off and I wanted a cheaper hdmi enabled blu ray dvd player. I mean if you want a blu ray player the ps3 is a steal seing as they are like a grand for just a player now a days. But with it now its sort of like well I have a 360 most games are mutli platform and apart from the obvios ps3 major franchises they dont have much new exclusive stuff coming.
And im sort of excited by the nero thing. I like the idea of dante being the bad guy. It may do the whole Metal gear or soul reaver thing. Where you switch between the two and in soul reavers case eventually fight each other. Would be really cool.

Well, I'll counter that there's just as much whispered talk out there that both Lost Planet and Dead Rising will eventually be ported to the PS3 (thanks to the 360's abysmal performance in Japan). But, I take it, you don't put much stock into those rumours...
For someone that's not interested in very many PS3 games, you seem to post quite a bit about them... I took the liberty of perusing your posting history. 8^)

I dont see the problem in capcom becoming a non exclusive company and porting games to all nextgen consoles. If I can get DMC4, lost planet, re5 and dead rising on my 360 I couldnt care less that you can also get them on something else tbh.

You seem to contradict yourself at every turn. First, there's a DMC4-for-360 rumour (ah, the superfluous "u" is catching!!) and then there isn't one (as such). At first, you say you're only interested in PS3 for MGS4, DMC4, and FF, but now you say you're interested in all games regardless of platform (indeed, you post to threads about Warhawk, MotorStorm, Untold Legends:DK, and Heavenly Sword -- all PS3-exclusives). Curious...
im not trying to start a flame war with you my friend. I said im interested in games regardless of platform not that im interestred in all games. And i did post in those threads but out of all of them I never said I wanted to buy them. Was just expressing my opinion. I still am only interested in those 3 for the ps3. Warhawk looks dire, motorstorm doesnt interest me, untold legends ive never enjoyed any of that franchise and I aint seen enough gameplay of heavenly sword to give an opinion. Im just saying theres lots of franchises becoming multi platform and with the success of dead rising and yes (with the bad performance of 360 in japan) there is a large chance of these games becoming multi platform. Is that so hard to grasp?
I have to say, especially after seening the actual screens, that I'm not too impressed. If you look at them closely you can see several places where sprites were used instead of 3D objects. I'm wondering if hardware limitations are becoming an issue, or if it's sloppy modeling.
its a known fact games look better in motion than on screenshots, i bet the people who say omg this game suck what a dissapointment will turn around when they see gameplay in HD 720p quality.
