You have certainly seen it already, the latest trailer of Street Fighter V which introduces th Dictator (known as Bison in the West and Vega originally). Plus new screens, expect more news about the game around E3.
Characters and effects look great, but backgrounds look like up-scaled ps2/ps3 graphics imo. Clean graphics but low detail, surprising for a game being made for PS4 and PC; but I guess its all about the gameplay. Still its early days but at the moment looks just like SFIV (graphically).

Why even bother making a 5th installment when design is almost 1:1 identical to the 4th ? A few effects here, a few charaters from past series there just won't do it for me, feels like a SC5 déjà vu. At least new Tekken will improve visually, hope they won't forget to improve controls too this time round.

No there won't be. There was a one year gap between SF4 and SSF4, and then Ultra came out three years later. The meta is kind of important to fighting game fans. No Street Fighter fan is going to wait for super.. especially when it may not even happen. There will be no "fuller version," and if there are revisions you'll be waiting a good deal longer than you think.
And this doesn't look "1:1 to the 4th" either. I mean, not only is the art different, but it already plays differently as well. If you watch the full match and think it looks exactly like Street Fighter 4, I have to wonder if you play Street Fighter 4. And it would be pretty difficult to introduce a new fighter without including fan favorites in the roster. Other franchises have tried, and were met with disastrous results.

Yeah I was looking into that as it is region free...prices are a bit too high though for me at the moment. Was considering making a jap psn account and getting it off their store...has anybody done this before with games? Can you use funds in your primary account wallet? I know once you download games you can play them on all accounts
Aren't Arc System works not using that free driver that the Skull Girls crew made for the PS4 that lets you use old PS3 sticks, with Xrd? If so that's pretty lame

And is it worth getting? I never played the Blaze blue games, but I really liked Guilty Gear on the Dreamcast - still one of the best looking 2D beat'em ups out there

if you like the systems in guilty gear, then yes, definately. it's only my second guilty gear (i had x2 on xbox) so i'm still not entirely used to it. but i'm enjoying it more then the recent MK's and SF's. but then i'm a big 2D sprite fighter fan, and it's the closest thing we're going to get to a HD one of those for a while i think. and unless SNK release a new king of fighters with true HD sprites i'll probably remain my prefared fighter.
