I think this game is probably going to feature multiple androids/stories. I wouldn't be surprised if what we saw here was the only story we get to play with this particular android.

Absolutely. Loved how it was much more like Heavy Rain (one of my favourite games of all time) and loved they marketed it the way they did. You will be amazed how many people think Heavy Rain is a fixed story, when it's one of the most impressive branching games out there to the point important characters can just die.
This looks like you play multiple humans/machines in different scenarios that have an overall arc/story, so that means once again the consequences can be dire.
Another one of the top showings of E3. Really pumped for it.
