Definitely gonna pick this up, but I'll miss Rayman a bit I think. Part of the absurdity in the first game was that "they" were crazy, not your own character. Also, the fact that they just couldn't help thinking Rayman was super cool at the end, despite having consistently kicked their asses was great. The audience going from wild and bloodthirsty to bored and then to exstatic waving Rayman flags around. :D

Ho well, fingers crossed that Rayman's off finding other ways to spend his time on the Wii, like for instance a worthy successor to The Great Escape instead of super hero timing puzzle nonsense that was the admittedly decent Rayman 3.

Seriously, this game is so immense it unbelievable, haha! I got persuaded to play it and couldn't stop playing the first one!

As strange as this may sound, this is actually a must buy for the wii.

And just to add, the trailer is hilllaaarriioouusss haha!

  • Sdarts

Sdarts I loved this game, you can play with different characters, each with their own abilities. You had a dash, that was basically like flying - Really cool mechanic. Squaresoft at its best. (2 Days ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts Found the game I mentioned - never thought to look for it till now. The name is "Soukaigi": [url] Seeing some comments of people who looked for it for 10 years. Crazy! (2 Days ago)

Sdarts But got to a place where I couldn't progress further, because I didn't understand Japanese - before 2000, I wanna say. Really liked it and still remember it randomly sometimes. (2 Days ago)

Sdarts And then later their American versions. There was this Japanese game only released in Japan, I think it was from Squaresoft, the game was quite cool and I went very far in it. (2 Days ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts @nostradamus: Yes, PSX, N64 & Sega Saturn as well. Those days, I played a lot of imported games. I believe I played Final Fantasy 8 around 6 months before the US release. Tenchu 1 & 2 in Japanese. (2 Days ago)
