R.U.S.E. got the short end of the stick at Ubisoft's press conference yesterday with just an old trailer shown, but we still got some new images and a two parts gameplay video for you guys.
Ok the gameplay itself looks absolutely awesome. I really like it..
However, i also really really dislike how the units grow in size as you zoom out.. I hate it, its so immersion breaking. Frankly it would have been better if they turned into icons a la Supreme Commander.
Yes you'd loose the nice 3d models for most of the time, but you'd also gain more immersion rather than the feeling that its a bunch of toy-tanks driving around as big as a house.
That city looked crazy detailed though :) Assassins Creed flashback :D
This is looking interesting. I like the zoom in and out, at will, ability. Could make for some fast strategy gameplay. I just need to get my hands on one of those tables shown in the first trailer.
