Microsoft put these two images of Modern Warfare 2 in their press kit, I don't know if they are new, but they look quite good!

I really don't know what to expect from this game. I mean sure I'll buy it just for the MP but somehow what was shown didn't make me want to play the SP right now.

opposite for me

i enjoyed MW for the single player experience on veteran mode, blew me away and i can't wait for this one on veteran mode.

The demonstration was indeed stunning, almost untouched visually. It also looks like they opened up the levels more too!

Going to be great, I was a but disturbed by the Aliens style tracker though...unless it is real technology in which case that's also cool.

The gameplay footage gave me that feeling that I've not felt in a FPS on a console since Goldeneye. Very remincent of the Severnaya snow level in that game, which is really what I was hoping for. Open-ended gameplay where you could go stealth or guns blazing should the level design permit, and from the looks of this, it's a departure from anything seen in the past COD games. Can't wait.

the demo was amazing...first you climb the mountains, then you sneak around in the blizzard with this cool "aliens" radar-gun, then a full blown action set-piece with lots of gunplay and explosions and to end it all with some sweet snowmobile escape action. All in 6 minutes or so....that's really something..
