This game is looking sweet,i hope i am ready for such a drastic change.Actually some of the changes should have taken place already but hardware err something i guess.
One of the first games to actually look next gen imo. I haven't really gotten into a MG game since 2, but the open world and number of options/approaches has me very interested. I was just waiting the air strikes and QTEs, but thank god I didn't see any.
I agree 2N3 for sure, formlesslikewater while 4 just had some nice cool gimmicks i would say.This has put snake in the proper context as a more believable soldier to me and add the open setting and other stuff makes for a drastic change imo.
Apparently there's a 6 minute video out, hope you guys can grab that before tomorrow in 1080p, would love to see that, because I'm too impatient to wait for the longer one tomorrow :p The showing they had at the MS press conference got me super excited for the game, more than I've ever been for a MGS game before. Can't wait to see more and get my hands on it!
Don't see what's so special about it graphically, except the character models, everything looks average at best. Low polys everywhere, low res textures, plus the lod bias.
Ever since kojima has implanted the idea of someone making another remake of MGS (hopefully something a bit more faithfull then the awful twin snakes) i'm more interested in the prospect of THAT, then the prospect of THIS. Please make it so.
