Sony shares these new screenshots for The Last of Us that show the level also seen during the gameplay sequence. The video will be added later once and if available.
This surprised the hell out of me, not to the level of say, watch dogs which we dont even know is current gen?, the combat looks slow, and brutal, completely different then uncharted. The climing seems much more underplayed, and seeing an inventory was great, it looks stuidly good too...THIS is how you do AO.

Yup. They say it was to make her more vulnerable, more 12 year old rather then 15 year old. But i think it was more to do with ND obvious inspiration being ellen page, an actress now in quantic dreams "beyond"
When I saw that fourth pic (the bar scene) in game, I was just flabbergasted by the level of detail. Everything has this level of definition, as if each component and interior of the game has been finely crafted. Naughty are known for there attention to detail and in no way is that clearer than in that scene, brimful of cultural, thematical and contemporary pieces that prove how a picture is worth a thousand words. The devil is indeed in the deatails.

I had my doubts about this game after the disappointing Uncharted 3 (Uncharted 2 was waay better imo) but this game is shaping up very nicely, the gameplay looks intense and the kills look satisfying.
I just hope there is hardly any climbing.

Judging from the Uncharted series, I would be very surprised if it wasn't.

Yup, but i'm guessing they're sticking to their word, it's less about the "zombies", more about the survivors...like the walking dead
I'm hoping there are very few moments of contact with them, but each encounter makes the prospect of another genuinely frightening. Something few horror games do right, they usually just beat you across the face with "scares" that they stop being scary.
After Watch Dogs is lamw seeing this stuff, dont get me wrong it looks incredible but Watch Dogs is on another level completly, cant imagine what ND will make with next gen tech.
well here's the one PS3 game i'm looking forward to getting. it will be a good one with game play a little bit more grounded than uncharted, which i think i'll enjoy
Thats something Im really looking forward. I fully trust to Naughty Dog. They always come with something awesome if its in story, gameplay or technology. Damn....so many cool games and so little budget.
This is really cool. Feels like a nice mix between survival and action. The fact that you are having a little girl with you all the time are making the fighting even more intense. Just look at the last screenshot. Amazing.
Well, it's Uncharted with some incredibly small tweaks. Nothing terribly wrong with that, it just looks rather unimaginative. I hope at least there's more of a focus on exploration than on tedious shoot outs.
At least we'll see what I Am Alive would have turned out like if it had been made by talented devs.
