This E3 is very quiet for us so far, since everything is on Youtube with a quality we do not find acceptable, so as a test for our new camera here is some offscreen footage of Halo 5 from Microsoft's press conference. It's clearly offscreen, and a bit too dark, but it still look doesn't look half bad :)

Visuals are somewhat disappointing. Even with the compressed video I've seen I can tell the game is sub 1080p with all the aliasing and it doesn't look that much better than Halo 4 MCC. I really wish this series was on more powerful hardware. This is not 343's fault. The game is in good hands. MS failed all the devs and fans with crap hardware. Is this game going to run at 30 or 60fps? Has MS or 343 confirmed the resolution output for final release?

They've clearly sacrificed a lot for 60. And it doesn't even look 1080p. Either that or the aliasing is just THAT bad. All these previews where shouting about awesome open encounters and stuff and they instead demo a corridoor of action, and not a very interesting one at that. Dissapointing. I thought after halo 4 we was looking at a new MS graphical powerhouse franchise

The video has not the enough quality to talk about graphics.
The game has temporal antialiasing I gues.

Explosions are about the same quality we saw in Halo 4, they are worse than the previous Halo games. A pitty.

I was excited to check out Halo 5, but the demo they showed was really... meh. Bad pick to present the game to audiences, IMO. The Warzone trailer (basically Battlefield Halo) was more interesting.

I'm still waiting for them to revamp the formula somewhat, I really liked the interplanetary sandbox concept that leaked a few years back.

Ans I see a definitive trolling here.Did you see SS of this game? I have never seen that detailed character models and environments.

That's because they were super-sampled bullshots. Unless you actually think the game runs at 1440 x 2560 and has 16xAA? Maybe they forgot to demo that version. There's always gamescom
