30 FPS isn't that good for "next gen".
But the graphics in Saint's Row are, and some developers will always choose graphics quality over framerate. There's probably gonna be 30 fps next-nextgen too, and probably the one after that. Our eyes will never change, and the majority seems to be fine with it. At least in the most genres.

yeah to be honest i have never noticed framerat problems in all my life of gaming, no tnew titles nor old ones, if you don't think about it you don't see it

Thats true. When I played call of duty 2 then switched over to Halo2. I noticed a big difference in framrates. It seemed as if halo2 was moving slow. But 30 fps is good for this type of game, if it was a fps then they should try their hardest to increase fram rate, but this is no fps.
