Video PS3

DjMizuhara just told me that I forgot to put online his commented video of Shatter from the E3 showfloor. There you have it, and it's quite interesting too!

Just t let you know that this is the game David Ellis on Listen Up has been talking about for the last 2 weeks. Here's some more info; This is a self-published game from Sidhe, the developers of GripShift. Shatter combines the standard “Brick-Breaking” elements of games like Arkanoid, but adds MUCH more in terms of gameplay and variety by infusing elements of puzzle games and SHMUPs.

By using the push and pull mechanics, you can play almost an entire round without the ball even touching the paddle. Also, the more items you hit, the more power shards appear, which can be collected by sucking them in, or bounced off of your shield to act as weapons. Mix-in bonus rounds, an incredible Electronica soundtrack, and Boss Battles, this is easily one of the best PSN titles at E3 2009.

Looks very nice, I love Arkanoid style games as they are one of the classic staples of gaming that much like Tetris never really get old but this looks like it brings some great new elements to the genre.

Definite download for me.
