PSP

Barker again, with a gameplay video of Silent Hill Origins. It was hard to feel involved in the loudness of the hangar, but the game appeared to be faithfull to the best episodes of the series, and showed a rocksolid framerate.

Wow! That looks really good! I mean sure the models are a bit basic and stuff but the mirror thing is yet another new angle for the Silent Hill universe. I love it how each entry bring something new that still very much fits with the rest.

While I doubt this treats the movie as any *real* canon (I loved the movie btw) that girl is really Alessa like.

I'm not sure, but if they come out with another color (other than silver) in the US, I may just have to pick up another one. That video out feature is really sweet.

I'd like to say that the game was a lot more beautiful on the PSP screen than the TV we actually filmed.

The PSPslim will come out worldwide in September, in the US you'll have to pay the old price again, namely $199,99. We Europeans get the same price €169,95, it will replace the old PSP in the stores.

@ Pipo: of course, on tv all the textures appear bigger thus stretched out. If consoles like 360 and ps3 would render at 480x272, framerate problems wouldn't exist, but it'd be rather small :P.
