When Star Wars 1313 was announced, we had nothing to see how it looks. Now we know how the game looks, it looks great, it looks next-gen. First screenshots and some gameplay clips after the jump.

This feels like next gen graphics.
I'm inclined to agree, but the general darkness has me unsure. Darkness can hide a multitude of sins, hence why night time levels typically look a lot better then daytime.
Looks great, but it's not the big leap you'd expect from a next gen game. Then again, I don't exactly know what to expect from the next generation of consoles. I think the difference won't be as big this time around. Not until a couple of years in the next gen anyways. Still... looks great and I'm happy they're trying something else in the star wars universe.
I'm thinking next gen as well. With this and Watch Dogs, it seems devs are anxious to get their IP's out there and start building momentum, even if Microsoft and Sony are both frightened to jump the gun when it comes to announcing consoles.
Speaking of the graphics, after watching it a few times, it really is pretty amazing. The effects, lighting, animation, and textures are all VERY well done. Unfortunately the gameplay does nothing impressive at all. Small flicks of the analog stick and a few pop and drop cover shoot sequences doesn't inspire awe, but hey, it's an early reveal so who knows. Still excited to see more!
Overall, I would have to say the thing impressing me most about this E3 is the improvements in animation that developers are making. This, Watch Dogs, Tomb Raider, The Last of Us, and AC3 are all AMAZING looking in motion. Hopefully animation, physics, and AI will all make huge leaps with the next generation (along with visuals of course).
Where we are currently at is the half way house of generations. Currently PC is starting to now flex its muscle and show properly what it can do, much like the way it was back in the PS3 Xbox days when it took a year or two and then the PC made them look stupid. This is what is happening now, but it is by no means next generation. I think when people finally see what the next consoles can do, they'll be in for a bit of a shock.

Do you speak from experience? I'm just curious because with the alleged specs I have seen, I wouldn't expect much more than a current high end PC (which is exactly what this and Watch Dogs looks like to me). IMO, next gen consoles=current high end PC's.

I hope not, this is OK for PC now, but next gen consoles better have much better visuals then this.
have you forgotten what games looked like when the Ps3 and 360 was first released? they looked like last gen games with HD textures. now look at the ps3 and 360. same exact hardware and technology those earlier released games ran on but games now look 10x's better. if this is what the next generation starts out as, I'd be okay with that.

Which is why KZ2/3 always pissed me off, so many hidden shit textures.
That said, this game isn't that dark at all, most of the details were clear for me. Maybe your screen is a bit lackluster or something? I haven't watched the videos yet so maybe the gamersyde videos are off.
After the SE tech demo, this had the most impressive visuals at E3...if this and WD are what we are getting at release, and FF looks like the tech down the road, then I cant damn wait

nobody's question the visuals, just whether it's truly nextgen in terms of hardware requirements.
I will add that whilst everyone is getting excited (me included) about this game how many will be able to play it, is it going to be a Crysis issue in that what it touts few can experince.
Just amazing. Who cares what gen it is. Havent expected Star Wars games with such stunning presentation. Soooo polished. I like how the smoke and sparks are sucked out of the interiour. Love it.

Also wonder what kind of AA they are using, the image quality is a bit too clean IMO

Graphics look great but I am always a bit reluctant to talk about them in terms of being a selling point of any game.
