We received these two gameplay videos of Star Wars Battlefront and we're sharing them with you. Note the bitrate is not that great but that's the best we could get and it's still better than youtube. EA and DICE will release the game on November 17th.

This is how such a beautiful game is supposed to be shown.

Any chance you guys will be able to get the Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, Need for Speed and Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire videos from the same source as well?

Well if it were at least 20,000kbps then that is a lot closer to "how it should be shown". But this looks like the highest bitrate video EA put up so far :(
I take it, that is from the Australian Press site guys? Still the only EA place that puts up direct feed videos :)

Yeah, I know. The game is truly beautiful and desevers insane bitrate levels, like 50,000-80,000. Still, better than Youtube and Twitch's livestream. =)

The sound is amazing indeed! DICE partnered with the official Star Wars visual and audio effects company to use the same sounds as the movies.

In addition to that, this is the first game to use Dolby Atmos - exclusively on PC, which is a new audio technology that places sounds in a 3D space, which supposedly (haven't tried it yet) greatly enhances sound, more info on it below.

40 players. can be played solo with bots too, which is something i only thought killzone still did.

Why? It really doesn't look that good anyway. It looks great for being 60fps, but I'm not sure what people are seeing here. The sounds are more impressive than the graphics.

Doesn't look good because it's not hi-res enough? I mean don't know if it's technically impressive, but it's certainly artistically impressive. The lighting & effects are very well utilized.

LOL!! Rebel Troops in the Rebellion era NEVER looked like they were dressed for war. They all look like civil engineers with hard hats going to a construction site.

Artistically, yes. Technically? A little. I don't see how this wouldn't be doable on PS4 or why it would need a downgrade unless they were going for parity with weaker platforms. Killzone: Shadow Fall looks better than this, at least on a technical level, and that was a launch game.

If 60fps here is very stable here, I will be impressed. That is my one doubt regarding this footage. It looks good either way. Again, my reply was at yippee thinking it wouldn't look like this at launch. Yes, it's hard to trust EA, but I've seen far better looking games on PS4.

It's both. It doesn't look good enough to worry that it wouldn't look like this at launch on PS4, but it's forgivable considering they're targeting 60fps.

Does all of Killzone look better, or just the single player? At half or maybe even less than half the framerate? When you consider the framerate, the platform, and the multiplayer load.. it looks friggin' incredible. That has nothing to do with the quality of the art direction. Those are technical achievements.

"It doesn't look good" and "it looks great for 60 fps" are contradictory statements. It can't be both.
