E3 starts early for Midway

Xbox 360 PS3

Midway kickstarts E3 and sends us the E3 trailer of Blacksite: Area 51, along with 2 new images. I guess it's a good way not to be lost in the middle of hundreds of updates next week.

Looks cool. I was kind of impressed by the demo, even though the framerate could been better. But I'm pretty sure they will fix that before release.

I wasn't very impressed with the trailer. It seemed like the story tried to sound intelligent and failed miserably, and the few bits of gameplay looked bland. I don't like games where bullets do nothing to stagger or otherwise influence enemies until their health meter finally drains.

well... the trailer was pretty crap (especially the start), but the game looks fun and that's what matters. The demo was pretty cool, and if that is anything go by the final games should be worth buying...

isn't this a follow up to one of the earlier area 51 games?
Demo was ok. It's the story that i'm worried about

Maybe they're banking on Halo 3 shortages. I can't imagine myself buying this when Halo 3 comes out...

with regards to release near halo,its gonna be a good move i see.
people play halo,complete it then think i need more FPS,then they go for blacksite.
maybe a theory they used.

but i think this game is gonna rock anyways,the demo was awesome.i love fast paced fps.loads of fun

didnt like how they put real world video in this trailer for a VIDEO GAME. video games are for entertainment, shouldnt be used to remind us of how messed up our lives are. but yes about the game; the demo seemed like the kind of basic FPS, run and shoot aliens and the occasional cinematic. could be fun for a bit then starts to get boring. might rent dis though.

Can't wait for the day to come that xbox games play as smooth as ps3 games. frames per second wise.

Woah, September? They better release it reasonably early in the month then, otherwise it'll be totally overshadowed by Halo 3.

It seems midly interesting to me, nice cinematic feel to some in-game bits.
