I cried when this game came on, then was sad even more by how amazing looking it is as a PS3 game and how we should have been onto something even more mind blowing by now. :(
I don't really understand what is so great and legendary about this game other than everyone thinking it would never end up being released. It looked ok, had some puzzle elements, couple of characters and a somewhat sparse environment. I haven't seen the conference yet and will wait til someone encodes the whole thing. I hope there were some great things shown.
Looks awesome (though i'm waiting for some cries of downgrades...how the hell would this have run on ps3, would have been interesting). So much personality in the griffin.
This game will not be out next year though... it's telling that after all this time they're still showing the same environment.

Its the "sequel" to 2 of the best games ever made? Ico and shadow of the colossus.
I agree. But gameplay was not deep. I'm buying it without a single doubt.
it wasn't particularly deep in their past games either, simple puzzles, simple combat, simple traversal... they're all relatively simple games. but that's part of their charm for me. i'm not looking for mensa level puzzles. just something beautiful and entertaining.

not so much no. the gameplay is still gameplay, it's not like a telltales game or something. and it's great fun gameplay at that. they're just not particularly deep in their mechanics. trversal is just moving forward and dealing with a grip system. combat is one button attacks. puzzles are well designed but not infuriating.
