Turtle Rock have announced the Big Alpha for their coop shooter Evolve, coming this Halloween. It will start on October 30th for Xbox One and October 31st for PlayStation 4 and PC. If you don't intend to pre-order the game and still want a chance to participate, try here.

I enjoyed their last event, despite some issues.

A lot of people seemed to dislike it though. I hope a good community pops up around this.

really can't see this game having legs at all, but i hope i get into the beta. Be one of those games for the quick occasional blast i think

The graphics look super downgraded when they show the game in 3rd person. Almost all next-gen games so far are disappointing me to some extent. No matter who the publisher, the game always turns out to be overhyped, never under. And to be really honest, I haven't bought a single game this year. Maybe I've become overly suspicious or picky, but I think moreso I'm more resistant to getting jipped, that's for sure. Anyways, I hope this game breaks that trend.
