INDIEPUB AND NAMCO BANDAI GAMES ENTER A GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT FOR UPCOMING DIGITAL TITLES STORM™, CAPSIZED™ AND VESSEL™

- NAMCO BANDAI Games will distribute three major upcoming indiePub titles including Storm™, Capsized™ and Vessel™ available for download in 2013 -

PARIS, FRANCE – April 11, 2013 – NAMCO BANDAI Games, a leading video game publisher, developer and distributor, and indiePub Entertainment, Inc. (OTC: IPUB), a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software for digital distribution channels, announced they have signed a global agreement for the distribution of Storm™, Capsized™ and Vessel™, available in 2013.

All three games will be available for download via Xbox Live® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Storm and Capsized will also be available through the PlayStation®Store for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

“We are really pleased to be partnered with an industry leader like Namco Bandai,” says Ray Schaaf, indiePub’s President and CEO. “We've invested a lot of time and money into these great titles and believe Namco Bandai is well positioned to maximize their potential.”

“We are really proud to announce that we will work with indiePub on Storm, Vessel and Capsized, as the worldwide distributor of these three exciting titles coming on digital platforms,” added Alberto González Lorca, VP Third Parties, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe. “We look forward to collaborating with such a dynamic company whose quality games show the dedication of the indie developers to their work.”

Storm is an ambient, ethereal experience where you use natural phenomena to guide a simple seed to fertile soil so it can take root and spring to life. Embrace the subtleties and strengths of nature to move a broken branch, fill a small pond or make snow fall to solve puzzles and create natural paths. Take your time and explore nature’s nooks or simply enjoy the ambiance as you float, blow and bounce a seed to the perfect place to take root. Relax and enjoy Adventure, Challenge or Spirit modes, each set in gorgeous environments and enhanced by soothing, nature-inspired soundscapes.

Capsized is a fast-paced 2D action platformer set in an immersive alien world teeming with bizarre life forms and strange landscapes presented in a unique hand-drawn art style. In Capsized, your ship crash lands on a mysterious alien planet and you must navigate through perilous environments and fight blood-thirsty creatures to save your crewmates and escape with your lives. Using a grappling hook, jetpack and ship supplies, you fight through hostile landscapes to save fellow shipmates from the planet’s Tribal creatures. Capsized combines control elements of first-person shooters with innovative physics-based combat and nods to classic platform games. It has more than a dozen non-linear levels with multiple modes.

In Vessel, living liquid machines called Fluros have overrun the world and it is up to their inventor, M. Arkwright, to stop the chaos. It’s a single-player puzzle game set in a steampunk world with creatures based on a unique liquid-physics engine. Vessel features a full-length soundtrack created by music prodigy Jon Hopkins and uses a custom music engine to dynamically remix tracks to reflect gameplay.

Storm, Capsized and Vessel will be available for download on Xbox Live® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Storm and Capsized will also be coming out on the PlayStation®Store for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

VESSEL

Living liquid machines have overrun this world of unstoppable progress, and it is the role of their inventor, Arkwright, to stop the chaos they are causing. Vessel is a game about a man with the power to bring ordinary matter to life, and all the consequences that ensue.

• Liquid Gameplay
Vessel is built on an optimized liquid simulation featuring flowing water, scalding lava and steam, reactant chemicals, glowing goo, the mysterious protoplasm, and more. Each liquid has unique properties and mixes with other liquids for dramatic effects.
• Bring Liquid to Life
Interact with Fluro creatures that are formed entirely from simulated liquid. Each retains the properties of the liquid they're made of, giving them the ability to melt, reform, absorb, explode, and more.
• Unique Puzzles
Solve puzzles by combining the unique behaviors of each creature with the fluid they're created from. Every aspect of the world is physically simulated, and all puzzles are based in the liquid simulation. Drop a Drinker Fluro and lure him by spraying goo. Create a Dark Fluro and chase him with light. Liquid and physics are not an aesthetic in Vessel, but the foundation of gameplay.
• Upgrade Your Equipment
Use the mysterious protoplasm liquid found in the world to upgrade your equipment, obtaining powerful new ways to manipulate liquid.
• 2D/3D Hybrid Art Style
Explore a world of fantastic, detailed machines and strange, wondrous environments. 2D hand-drawn textures combined with 3D normal maps, lighting, and depth creates a unique, other-worldly look to the visuals.

CAPSIZED

Capsized is a 2d platform game designed and developed by Lee Vermeulen and Jesse McGibney. The game focuses on fast-paced action along with physics-based puzzles, giving a completely new user experience to the platform genre. With a very stylized unique art style by Jesse Mcgibney, Capsized puts the user in a completely unknown environment, giving a lush setting full of alien flora and strange hostile creatures.

Capsized is the story of a space traveller who has crash landed on a mysterious alien planet. Using his grappling hook, jetpack and the ship supplies he has to fight through the hostile landscape and save his fellow ship mates from the planet’s Tribal creatures.

The game play of Capsized takes from the First Person Shooter genre to give the user a constant sense of action and movement, with non-linear level design and completely explorable environments. The game features 12 levels for the user to fight through. Each level has completely new objectives and becomes more challenging in terms of actions and objectives.

Along with the main campaign mode, there is a Versus mode for local death match play. Because of the non-linear level design the game play of death match is very alike to First Person Shooters in terms of strategies and movement. Simply being able to aim and shoot is not enough, user’s who have mastered the use of the game’s grappling hook, jetpack, and ability to use the environment around them, will defeat their opponents.

STORM

Storm is a physics-based puzzle game where players control the weather to grow seeds into trees by guiding them through nature-themed levels set to a tranquil music background.
Use logic and the power of wind, rain, lightening, snow, tornadoes, ice and even bubbles to solve environmental puzzles while guiding a seed to fertile ground.

~ The ability to manipulate seven different elements of nature in 49 intriguing levels.
~ Three unique game modes: Adventure, Challenge and Spirit.
~ Collect hidden orbs that unlock exclusive content within the game.

Vessel is pretty great. Tad confusing in terms of puzle/progression. pretty big game. I have the superior native 1080p version, so yhea... go on if you want to play the shitty 720p ones. it matters.
