This Point Lookout place, where is it located anyway. Several photos I have seen, including pic #3 (above), make it look like Coney Island. Or does that look more like Atlantic City, which would be a helluva a lot closer than going all the way to Coney Island? But considering they went to Pittsburgh a couple of DLCs back, I guess Coney Island would not be too much of a stretch either.
Anyone familiar enough with the area willing to give up some hints? Could it possibly be somewhere along Chesapeake Bay or down on Virginia Beach?
Mentioning. I was looking at an aerial map of the area, and the Capital Wasteland from the game covers a pretty huge section of real world realty. It's all condensed however for the purpose of the game. In real life however, I would really hate to have to walk it from end to end. I've seen several interactive maps of the Wasteland online, but I wonder why no one has bothered to recreate a to-scale map of the wasteland using the reference points from a real map? You know, a proper overlay of Bing or Google Maps. Now that would be both useful and cool.
is this game really worth the buy. I loved oblivion, but this just never really caught my attention. I think it's the color scheme that just makes me depressed.
Well actually I used to own the 360 version and I will again when the GOTY edition comes out in October with all the DLC...Im borrowing this ps3 version from my brother in law
Don't own Fallout yet, but I've been getting really interested in it and its DLC lately. It'll have to be the PS3 version for me though and I've been hearing too much negativity about that to actually get me buying the game.
