the presentation and character animation in the demo were top notch....but the players likeness to their real life counterparts was very bad....I also felt the gameplay is still FIFA......I only wish that pro evolution could have given the same attention to improve the graphics and animations a bit...but still pro evolution is the game to pick up come October 27 ;)

The problem with FIFA is that it's graphics are mostly lost when you start playing, and it seems that EA only concentrate on the likenesses of players for only the really, really world famous ones, others are pushed aside, i was playing the demo and Scholes looked more like a poor mans Beckham with flicked up hair and stuff rather than himself, pretty shocking.

I so disagree with you, infact it is the opposite for me, the graphics shine when you start playing, the detail, the clarity, from the grass, to the way the hair of the players models move to superb animation, this game is just absolutely beautiful, as far as the player faces?, I agree, I expected more, but you can't argue the detail they placed in textures on the face, true they are not as accurate as I would like but it's still a decent repesentation of the players IMO.

True, images looks nice thou i might get PES6 instead of this.

The thing is, although the graphics are definetely polished in the middle of play, it actually feels unreal, i have never seen a pitch glow like that, and like Woah said...the faces are horrible....Kaka looked like a locust from Gears of War =D

they have the usual melted face problem they always had,pro evo is good gameplay,but it feels like a old gen game,and yes i have played it
but yet again,the pictures shown here,are not the same as in game,because the faces look right in these,but in game most look nmothing like there real life,even the likes of rooney,as he looks very odd,in both games.
although the faces in pes6 are scary as hell,look at UTD keeper from behind,boy does he have big ears

I wish that were the case for the US. The only thing I regret about importing my console from there :(

I'm not really going to take anything from these pictures. In these and previous images and the trailers their 'in-game' footage had astonishing looking stadia and player likenesses, with particular focus on Rooney and Ronaldinho. But in the demo cut-scenes, both Rooney and Ronaldinho looked nothing like the trailer models, Ronaldinho in particular looked awful, and the stadium looked poor. Hoping that demo was from a very early build and these screens are more indicative of the final version, but I won't hold my breath. Shame that graphically I feel disappointed as there's a lot I love about the game, and I will be buying both it and Pro Evo on Friday.

I really like the demo BUT it doesnt look anything that good in the demo, the characters arent even recognisable, they like look nothing like their counterparts at all, its so bad.

Yes, but the fact that the player likenesses in the demo don't look a tenth as good as they do on these screens OR on the screens they've been throwing around for months suggests that either the demo is VERY early code (unlikely, given the frame rate is fairly smooth) or that the released images aren't representative of the actual game, which it wouldn't exactly be unlike EA to do.

This game didn,t get a good review over at ign, i will get pes6 instead of fifa 07 - fifa 07 got very good graphics but it seems like the gameplay can,t come near pes as yet, images looks good.
