Xbox 360 PS3 PS2 Xbox

EA just released three new images of the Xbox 360 version of Fight Night Round 3. A message in a trailer on Xbox.com said that a demo is supposed to be up on the Market Place "right now". It's not, but hopefully this means that the boxing fans can enjoy some fighting this weekend, as Microsoft often release demos on thursdays and fridays.
Update: The demo is now up on the Market Place.

3 X360 images

  • Fight Night 3(60): 3 images - 3 X360 images
  • Fight Night 3(60): 3 images - 3 X360 images

A demo today?

Please let it be true!

Oh, and this looks nothing like the Xbox , the lighting, texture detail, muscle definition, amount of polygons are well above any previous generation version.

Thx for the heads up Manager, Xboxyde 1st with the breaking news!

A demo today?
You can see the trailer for yourself here:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/e/easportsfightnig...

The actual text is:
"Visit the Xbox Live Marketplace to download your demo today!", or something like that. The trailer was released yesterday.

Thx for the link, just for the record I did believe you!

Small trailer, and the lighting (more so the lack of it) looks strange, almost too dark or something or a subdued colour pallette.

The images you posted do look promising though, and they don't look touched up either, you can just make out some aliasing on the shoulders.

Can't wait, love the series. 'Self Determinant AI' sounds interesting.

The only thing I want really improved is the opponents (the ones with almost 100% strength etc) uncanny ability to block almost every hook.

Wow, that 3rd screen blew me away. The skin texture is amazing, and the sweat is beautiful as well. I wish all of EA's efforts were as well done as this, but hopefully this will be the generation of non-halfassed EA games....one can hope :-\
Bring on the demo!

The images look great but in motion it sucks something fierce. They need to work on the animations.

if this is how the game looks when realease are better i will get it. looking at the xbox version of this game the 360 version could easily look as good as those 3 picture are better.

Well it looks much better than the XBox version, of course, and I'm glad it does. But the last time I saw a trailer of the game, I have to agree - the animations look somewhat stiff. Don't they do motion capture for sports games like this? Also, while it is impressive in those screens, it's not quite as detailed as what we saw in that tech demo they played during the E3 Sony conference. It's like Madden all over again..

There's only so much you can do with motion capture when you need to have fast, responsive control aswell.

Developers are really starting to show what they can do with better technology now. I mean there are ALOT of developers that I thought sucked up until the next gen rolled around. They are doing some amazing things (not referring to ea because I always liked their games never really thought they sucked completely) that make you wonder wtf ??? This is the same team that made that horrible ps2 or xbox game and now they are making something like this?? wow.

For example. Anyone liked kung fu chaos for the 360 and now this developer is making an amazing game in heavenly sword for the ps3.

It isn't on us marketplace yet I just checked.

I can't find anything wrong really, looks awesome. But for some let's say Sony gamers, it's never good enough :P Let's not forget it's a game, you can't compute everything.

Please...that "demo" that they showed at E3 was fake and trust me, we wont be seeing any animation like that for a long time. To me, this looks more real than the E3 trailer (graphics and stuff) So I think EA is doing a great job with their new games.

If you compare this to the Xbox version its like damn, huge difference!

TRUST YOU? No thanks! That e3 demo was not fake, he moves the camera around the characters himself, but i do agree that the animations dont segway into eachother as well as they should. But damn, is it pretty!

I don't understand. EA released these three pics about a month ago...............They're everywhere. I have a cool hi-res trailer of the game that I haven't seen anywhere else. I can't remember where the link came from. It may be the same trailer that will be on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The graphics are stunning, but I wasn't impressed by the animations at all. I'm a little concerned about button response. I don't want to have to break my 360 controler to win a fight. Of course I haven't played the game, but looking at the boxers' movements look all to familiar.

1UP has a good developer video interview showing the game in action.

Some of the animations do seem a bit choppy (blocking for example) but I really can't see how they would ever blend them together well. I'm hoping the FightNight 3 is the first EA sports game worth buying.

It's fake.
Have you ever heard of real-time tech demos? You can move the camera around in those too. They are all over the internet.(particularly GPU sites) That PS3 demo was just an animation with no gameplay mechanics. That is why it looked so good.
