as much as i enjoy looking at these videos, i really wish there was some way of understanding what's going on(at least english subtitles). BTW, thanks for the hard work Dj, i'm still yet to add you on psn.(i'm gonna do so now) ;)

Seriously cannot wait. Over 1 million first day sales, can't remember the last time that happened for a game in Japan (when WKC sold 100,000 first day that was impressive then, but now?). Wonder what the first week sales will be for this game...

Im really pleased how the game turned out. Since from the first images and trailers i haven't really dug the art-style that much: Everything is so.."overly designed" right from the characters clothes and weapons down the to the little " treasure balls" - I don't have anything against it per se, but it's just not my cup of tea. - I appreciate the time and effort that has gone in to those designs, but they don't really please my eye. Same thing happend with FF VIII and X.

But what i DO like is that the combat seems really fun and the story sounds interesting enough, althou' the cast of characters don't seem to be instantly charismatic or memorable, once again, purely judging from the design standpoint. But i do hope they are well written, and not so cliched as they seem to be at the moment.

It makes warm and happy in my pants that there is a really good-looking, interesting, J-RPG that seems to live up to the Final Fantasy name coming in couple of months.

the early 2010 is shaping up to be THE best first quartal of game releases ever. Ever.


EDIT: For the love of GOD! Im 4 minutes in to the "Gameplay.4-video" and not once..but TWICE a character has fallen to their knees (the kid actually was on his knees right in the beginning of the video but he got up at some point, so i guess that makes it three times someones knees touched the ground in 4 mins.) in a melodramatic way...I mean, is there something wrong with their legs or is that the ONLY way to emote despair/sadness/frustation in Japanese RPG storytelling ? :)

Gameply video 5 was BRILLIANT with the boss battle ... The effects in the game are amazing!!!

why do these vids have slowdown? I was watching the ice cave gameplay at gamevids and they didn't have the stuttering problem....

game looks really good, I am probably too old for this stuff but I will still buy it :D
