Bethesda Softworks has finally released the first gameplay trailer of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim showing... gameplay of course. What you're waiting for, go and watch it.
Amazing trailer, great actor to do the voice over and very well delivered, awesome music aswell. Those are just the icing on the cake to what looks to be an awesome engine, that last shot is just awesome.
Well, what can i say. It just looks way better than even the most pimped out oblivion. I'm pretty much sure this will be good, i just hope they keep the game as open as Oblivion and the previous TES titles in terms of mods and such, cause the community always comes up with some great mods for these games :)
Game looks amazing I agree. The this is the only RPG series I really spend a lot of time with other than Mass Effect. ES IV was amazing and this looks like it very well may trump it in many ways. Bethesda always has my confidence in quality of product.
Epic trailer, I got goosebumps, mostly because how the music was, damn Jeremy Soule is amazing, close to Joris de Man for Killzone series.
From what I saw, which isnt much but still, animations during combat seems to be better.
For example those first person kills looked like finishers, reminds me of Dark Messiah game Ubisoft made, I thought it was very nice.
Also sprint? holy crap about time LOL
Hopefully it doesnt drain stamina :/

It looks ridiculously good, the music is indeed goosebumping good,lol. I love the mist at the beginning of the trailer, the snowy mountains, DRAGONS...that's simply always a win!!!! Third person looks very good this time around.
And check out the beginning of the trailer when you see the player running/sprinting down that forresty environment, is that how it looks ingame? Cause i love how wobbly the camera is and all that. Bad Company 2,Mirror's Edge and KZ2 and 3 have that too.
To be fair, Conan has one hell of an epic and memorable soundtrack. One of the best ever for a movie imo. Wouldn't want to draw the comparison, even though the setting of Skyrim somehow brings Cimmeria to mind ;)
The music fits the game though, i just hope they see fit to include a bit more varied music in the game previous titles really haven't included much in terms of music...a memorable theme for each game but little after that.

Hell yeah man, that wobbly camera is awesome. I remember it from a few others games and it makes it look very realistic and just awesome. I really hope its ingame like that too. It sure did look like it.
A Bethesda Softworks community manager has confirmed on the Neogaf forums that the footage from the recently released Elder Scrolls V trailer were captured on the Xbox 360, also confirms that the draw distance is not faked in way.
