Electronic Arts sent us this commented gameplay video of Crysis 2, showing the Central Station level of the game.

IMO Best looking Console Game at the Moment. And also Gameplay and Story looks improved to Crisys. So Proud that a German Developer can bring such a Great Game.

Unknown. I've heard it both ways. Some say it's the 360 version (which they did show
off in New York) but others say it's the PC version with a 360 pad.

Still, stunning gfx whatever it's running on.

I highly doubt it. Then, it doesn't run really that well (frame-rate) but... makes sense: Crysis Engine making hardware cry.

It's the 360 version, you can see the yellow "Y" button pop up when he's about to enter the car!

It could very well be the PC version played with a 360 controller, in which case some games do show the 360 buttons on screen. ;)

Awesome graphics,this is competing with Rage in that aspect!!

As for the gameplay I think it looks boring but that maybe just me.

This is 100% the Xbox 360 Version. TH PC Version will look even better because of some features like: "Real-time Diffuse Global Illumination" and it has much higher resolution Textures like you see on the Screens droezelke posted. Also the Aiming is a way to slow for Mouse and Keyboard. So believe it ore not, this will Kick Uncharted 2 from The Console Gfx Throne.

Yeah, it's the Xbox version "emulated" on PC, so it looks just like it would on Xbox...The PC version will go far beyond this one.
The gameplay footage shown in this video is old, but the comments are new.

The PC Games I've played with an Xbox 360 controller do show the controller buttons but not in the same shape as the console games. They show a Yellow "B1" buttong for example instead of "Y".

I don't think they'd go that cheap and show a PC version showing Xbox 360 buttons without clearing it up first.

Oh come on, of course this is the 360 version. You can see from the graphics. The PC version of Crysis is supposed to look insane, and I bet Crytek itself would showcase that version in full glory. And this is full-glory xbox360 going on. And I like what I'm seeing!

Because some, like me, hate using mouse/keyboard and is more comfortable with a controller.

As long as its a single player of a FPS on PC, it doesnt matter.
If its a MP mode, then its something else.

Anyways, this is definitely day 1 along with Killzone 3, sci-fi FPS in Q1 2011, nice!

Looks good but seems weird that the giant mech alien didn't seem to even flinch when being attacked by a explosives until the very end when it suddenly died after seemingly being very healthy

Actually the graphics in this vid are only console good, if you've seen Crysis on PC running VERY HIGH settings, it blows this out of the water

this doesnt impress me all that much really. certainly not to the level of visual quality we're used to from the first game. maybe it's the jump from lush jungles to boring old new york city, but whatever it is it isnt wowing me much. it's a nice looking game, no doubt, but atm it's looking a lot like a slightly improved version of FEAR. same plasitic sheen on everything, same toy-looking guns, even the shooting itself looks similar. i dunno. i'll probably have to rent it first, but so far, so unimpressed.

The lighting is quite flat. But that is of course the sacrifice needed to get it to run on current gen consoles.
