Gamersyde Xbox

The Gamersyde source code was updated to version 2.5 just a few minutes ago. What's new? Absolutely nothing for you guys! This version should look and behave exactly like the old one. But this new version is a huge change under the hood, no page or functionalities has been left untouched one way or another, and finally we are compatible with PHP 5.5 and later versions. This new code base is also much better for our future version 3.0, featuring a new look and also some much needed community features.
Considering hom much has been changed there will most likely be quite a few new bugs or forgotten stuff, so please let us on the appropriate forum!

Normally I run adblock everywhere but for you guys I'm happy to make an exception, if I click your ads each time I visit will that help out in some small way?

While I appreciate the gesture, please do not click on our ads like that, this can be detected by Google and get us banned.

I have to admit - that is true about this site and one of the reasons I return regularly. Still there are things that I would love to see go and just completely changed. Ah well - keep up the good work :D

What has happened to the image viewing thing? Now all images just open as jpeg in a new window and I can't go back and forward to next picture without closing the window and clicking on the next picture.

Just noticed if I log in the images view as before with the forward/back buttons. Why has this changed for non logged in users?

Wish: If you update page design, just make sure it's not too gfx heavy and doesn't look like ass (i.e. like Destructoid looks now, horrible design)

It's better that people naturally click on the ads because they actually are interested. Google is super vigilant with that, so I simply can't people encourage others to just click on the ads for the heck of it ;)

In place editing needs to be added - don't like being routed to the forum after a comment edit.

This page, http://www.gamersyde.com/communaute.html, does not load. Should that be "Communicate"?

Long term goals - Keep the video player and an image gallery in line with comment box - allowing the user to maintain his/her experience on the same blog page as said comment box :D But i'm guessing that won't work since it appears as though the forum and the blog page are one and the same? I always wonder why it's like that but I'm sure you have good reasons :D.
