Video Xbox 360 PS3

Fifa 10 was the first one on the way from the press room, so it's up now. PES will of course follow.
Issues with the sound, my fault. Sorry about that.
Update: Added a trailer.

Video is great but I'm not sure you've got the right soundtrack on this one. Sounds a lot like SHIFT.

Apparently the shooting is much, much better. Proper screamers from outside the area. Plus the keepers are more likely to punch or palm away shots but will make mistakes in doing so as well.

Yeah, I've heard that shooting has been made a lot more varied, and that irritating floating ball effect has been removed. Expect to score quite a few screamers from outside the box in FIFA 10 (which is something I've rarely been able to do in FIFA 09).

It seems as if the pace of the game is still too high. Also I do not like that you can't notice ANY difference between the first footage of FIFA 09 and the first footage (this footage) of FIFA 10. This concerns me the most. The fact that you can't see 1 single difference is scary, and not scary in a good way scary..

Well people who have played FIFA 10 said that they can't go back to playing FIFA 09 after because the difference in quality is too significant. Therefore, I'm guessing this video doesn't do the game itself much justice.

shooting is much more difficult in my opinion. passing, running etc. is very nice. but you can easily score lob goals with the LB (or LT) + shoot combination :(

Looks great.. Only fault I could find in this video was the way Zlatan walked into the post celebrating his goal, lol!

animation wise this looks far superior than PES, graphically PES is better. Can't wait to get my hands on both and make my decision, at the moment I may stick with Fifa!

You think PES looks "far superior visually"? I wouldn't go that far. Only thing I can tell that looks better in PES is the facial texturing. Everything else Fifa trumps it.

I watched the PES gameplay for about 20 seconds and that was enough for me to turn it off knowing what sort of gameplay it had and how much it had improved. It's same old OLD PES, but not as good as the PS2 games, which is pathetic, really. After turning the gameplay vid on for this game, I sat and watched all the way through simply because it's amazing to see just how much improvement EA have made in the space of one year. This looks like a totally different game to what 09 was, and what is incredible about it is that every animation seems to have been revamped to another level. Nothing touches this game for animation this gen. EA deserve an award for those.

Again, it looks like there are two duff players playing it, and sometimes trying to hold sprint down and running into players. I'm looking forward to seeing two skilled players playing this and actually showing just what is possible with this version of the game. Some of the little interchanges in and around the box were class to see, and the runs off the ball when attacking where what caught my eye. So much more realistic than last years and so much more closer to the ultimate football sim that the beautiful game deserves for us hardcore football fans.

Try looking harder. It's the subtle changes that make such a big difference. The physics in players muscling each other for the ball, the defenders intelligently throwing themselves at balls to intercept threats and getting behind the last man, the added control from 360 degree dribbling, the weightier ball physics. All looks very clear to me, looks like a big step forward. Or were you expecting it to look entirely different? It certainly doesn't help that neither of the people playing it appear to have any idea how to play the game.

pace of the game too high? 09 felt like turning in treacle with some lower league players. it was only when you controlled eto and some others it felt quick enough.

I take it the fast speed setting in the game wasn't fast enough? You know, in the real world not every team has 11 players with the pace of Usian Bolt. In many aspects, the pace of 09 was a little too fast.

What the HELL is wrong with FIFA and headers ??? Obs! 1:36 on the vid :S

Brandao hits the ball with the head like a girl hits a balloon with her finger.

The headers aren't realistic.

And why can't EA fix all faces in Barcelona ? I mean - Pique looks like avarage Joe :S He doesn't have dark hair BUT he was ordinary with Carles Puyol in the defence the whole last season. They should fix his face if they've already have fixed all the other faces in FC Barcelona and all the other clubs - I mean - that's the least effort EA can bring the fans of the FIFA-series. It adds soooo much to the feeling of playing a realistic game.

I hope a few changes will be made in gameplay because fairly I'm not that impressed. EA talk alot but I don't see any action being taken. =(

You don't see any action being taken? Gameplay is what counts, and from reports from people that played it, and from what I've seen here, this is a dramatic improvement over Fifa 09, so much so that it's almost an entirely new game. So what do you mean when EA are talking but no action is being taken? You'd have to be ignorant and blind not to notice these things. As for faces, it's well documented that EA fix graphics at the last stage. Anyway, you don't go looking at faces when the game is in action from a gameplay camera, which is about 90% of the time.

I wasn't talking about the looks of the game (visually). I was talking about the fact that player movements,... all look the same as in fifa 09. that's the scary part.

The scoreboard looks very distracting to me... It's too far from edge of screen, blocking the players at times.
