excellent drift, been waiting for this. this game is a day 1 must buy for me. R&C:TOD was awesome, and CIT is looking to exceed it in every way. especially content wise, story wise and gameplay wise.

I only rent the Ratchet games, but they are always really fun games. The gameplay is always fun, but the real treat for me is how damn funny the games usually are.

Looks rather good but we all know in our heart that this is just a poor mans Jak and Daxter. Bring on the real PS3 platform kings!

This series should have died a long time ago. I don't see anything impressive here, it just looks like a total cluster @#%@@ IMO

The cut scenes look amazing though

fuck that. R&C is the only decent platformer out there now. the rest have either gone crappy or just vanished. take away this awesome series and you basically kill the genre entirely

WTF? Mario Galaxy is WAY fucking better than any R'nC game. by a mile. I agree there are not enough good platformers out there, but Little Big Planet and Mario Galaxy are both far superior IMO. R'nC games also don't evolve very much at all. It's like Madden at this point, you are paying full price for a slightly updated game.

it would have to go a long way to reach madden levels of milkage tbh. like releasing a new game every 10 months.

yes, galaxy and LBP was good, but they come so infrequently that they mean very little on the grand scheme of things. at the end of the day i want my platforming fix, and if i was relying on mario i'd be waiting 5 years before i even got anything new. not so with ratchet and clank.

No:p I'm paying for another episode of my favourite interactive cartoon this gen.

BTW Gameplay and humor are always TOP. And only games from R&C have Qwark:)

I have to admit as awesome as this looks it does make me really want a PS3 Jak and Daxter game . Naughty Dog have been very busy with Uncharted 2 so I guess The Lost Frontier for the PSP will have to do for now.

I think comparing Mario Galaxy and LBP to R&C is a tad unfair. Mario Galaxy concentrates on being the best pure platformer possible whereas R&C is more of a shooter with some light platforming/puzzles. LBP when taken just as a platfomer is not really anything special, but when you combine the user creation aspect is becomes something quite unique and amazing. They all do what they do very well.
Some people here are like gaming Jehovah’s witnesses, trying to force their beliefs onto others. If you like a particular game more than another that's fine, but it's just your opinion and you should respect that others may think differently. To say that this series should die out is ridiculous, as long as it has a big fan base it should continue. Besides diversity is good, surely it's better to have a wide choice of games in each genre to suit all tastes?
