You asked for it, you get it. PES6 again, ladies and gentlement. Here, I shot a multiplayer game, opposing two young boys playing quite well. The video is long, and their fight to mark a goal really is great (and I'm not even fan of soccer).
Those two lads definitely knew their Pro Evo! Seems like the game definitely plays like it should, the player models are certainly a lot nicer than the current gen versions.
Oh and that was a very nice finish from Nedved at the end!
This and Fifa 07 will sell 360s in Europe better than any other games this year. Sony have quite a big problem on there hands with PS3 not having these games for a long time.
Contrary to belief, according to a head developer for Pro Evo, the PS3 version is delayed in development, and the 360 doesn't have it exclusive for 12 months, only for 2006, with the PS3 projected date being Spring 07 atm. The article was on 1up though, which is quite biased towards Sony...

20th on prior gen systems, 27th on 360.

he actually said spring at the earliest but probably summer, but like i saod to someone else it up to the senior managemnt is MS and konami to work that out.. i will be playing this game in little over two months im not waiting another 7, 8 or 9 months for it
1up.com has already updated it's news article (look at the bottom of the article). apparently the news just hadn't reached the poor Konami guy giving the interview.
It's Xbox360 (next gen) till the end of Summer 2007, 1up are wrong (again) and Microsoft are right!
I have to be honest, if this was for the original Xbox I wouldn't have questioned it.
I know it's difficult to show graphical improvements in a game were the players are so far from the camera, but the replays kinda show how average it all looks.
Now, I know PE has always been about gameplay, and I will be buying this in a heartbeat, however with PE4/5 they nailed the gameplay as it was pretty much perfect.
So for me, my next-gen expectation was for a huge increase in presentation to compete with the fifa series. This includes stadiums, players, atmosphere and commentary things that the PE series has always lacked and imo made it less of a believable experience...
@ Blim
Just wondering if you got any FIFA 2007 footage as it's supposed to look pretty incredible.
this is not next-gen, i couldn't tell any graphical difference from current-gen. Animations still look average or even sub-par and the character models were horrid compared to other sports games. Did anyone notice the ball felt like a ping pong ball? Ah, man I'm SO not a fan of football games, rather play basketball.
yeah, no kidding. looks like you haven't played any of the WEs or PESs, cuz this 360 version has much better player models and even better animation. i'm also a fan of the simple and clean look of this as opposed to the effects-heavy look of fifa. for the fans, this is what we expected, and it's solid.
the player models could certainly be better, but i'm sure konami will deliver on graphics in the next versions. roll on october 27th!!
