Sony had this montage of games to be released by the end of the year exclusively on PS3 shown during their press conference yesterday. Certainly quite a good lineup! Update: Full and direct feed version available.
Man, compared to the PS2's first year exclusive line-up, the PS3 is a MAJOR disappointment. If my 360 wasn't always being sent back to Microsoft I probably could've went another year without it.
Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword (DUH!) and in a geeky "I can't wait for it!" way- Eye of Judgement. That's pretty much my PS3 interest this year. And aside from Heavely Sword- I could do without my PS3. I'm totally feeling where you're coming from synce. I'm one of those that 'jumped too early' as well...
At least there are like 40 gems on the 360 this year... (you know- to help totally bankrupt me this fall...)

Agreed. It's a good machine for multiplayer games like Resistance, Warhawk and UT3 but as far as epic single player games are concerned it fails big time.
Good old action/adventure games! Sure i love FPS, but the ps3 hasnt even been launched for a year and its already gonna give me a platform game like rachet & clank, and action games like uncharted and heavenly sword.
Loved the folklore demo and its got my attention already. now give me more JRPGS!
Awesome! Brings back memories why i loved the ps2 in the first place. Just good single player games.

Right now, the 360 looks better for JRPG's than PS3 in my opinion, (yes PS3 has FF13, FF13V and WKS) obviously more will come, but I don't hold much stock in FF anymore, not since 12 anyway. (the franchise has deffinately lost something)

That is EXACTLY why I bought mine for.
I bought the PS3 only for its 3rd action/adventure games. HS, Lair, God of War, Uncharted, and many many more to come.
As for FPS will I am glad Haze and Killzone 2 is coming.
Just look at how PS2's library got soooo many games in this genre, and I have absolutely no doubt that the PS3 will have the same effect later on.
Of course it got no games now, but seriously its not even 1 year old like Xbox 360 is.
devs are having a bit problem with the hardware because it just came out, its a bit hard for them to make games for it, while devs are easy to "jump in" on 360 and make them.
But I for one do love bought my 360 and PS3, but knowing that once I don't care about FPS I know PS3 is right there, and it is pretty much 80% of the time.
I was most impressed by their PSN shooters (especially that one where your flying around a planet), but Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank also look tops.

Absolutely my opinion. But with Haze... don't know why, but really can't wake my interests anymore.
Well, I'll give it a chance. Could be, by playing a demo my opinion changes. But 'till now there are a lot more games more intersting for me than Haze ^^
Next year is gonna be expensive, 'caus a lot of good games is coming out, so I'll have to think about which game I'll buy, and which one I won't... Nargh... I prey the whole day long that money rains from the sky... but never happens... ^^
