A bit late but here is the direct feed multiplayer trailer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which shows what the exoskeleton brings to online competition.
I can't decide if this is 90% Halo Reach and 5% Halo 4 with 5% COD... or 90% Halo 4 with 5% Halo Reach and 5% COD... but it's definitely more Halo than COD. While I think that's a good thing... I'd rather not see Halo be bastardized into a COD game.
I'm not even a fan of CoD but you can hardly deny that this is going to be big.
With not even a remote competition coming this autumn and as homage to a beloved by many BLOPS 2 it may surpass GTA5 numbers.

Halo is 50% Quake, 40% UT2k 5% HL...we could could go on and on with that logic train. Also, last I checked, Halo borrowed a lot from the COD series when it started implementing perks etc. Frankly your asinine comment has no real validity if you try to pull general FPS behavior into question. Halo was the first decent FPS to appear on a console, but, it was nothing that PC fps series hadn't already long surpassed, so, the comparison really is a stupid one to make.
COD:AV isn't anything groundbreaking, but, it's certainly a breath of fresh air to the series. Frankly I like the depth of character customization that can be done. Gameplay looks tight from the demos i've watched. I like that there are no more real camp/choke points with new movement and level design. Pointstreaks: eh, love-hate relationship. If i'm feeling purist, there's Hardcore TDM. If i'm dorking around with friends...reg TDM away.
