During its Gamescom's press conference, Electronic Arts showed a multiplayer trailer of Crysis 3, we hope to get it soon. For now, we have some images. Update: As promised, the trailer has been added, in 1080p version.

Crysis Wars seemed a lot more fun to me, alas there was this HW requirements thing which didnt really make it enjoyable for most of the Mid High End PC guys.

Crysis 2 played nothing like COD, COD players really struggled with C2 like they have really struggled with Ghost Recon ;) But hey dont let the truth get in the way...if you dont like something or cant play it blame it on COD.

And i'm not saying it was bad either, just way too CoD-inspired.

Not to mention the maps felt empty since every fucker was cloaked. The MP essentially turned into a "who can find the transparent shimmer hiding in a bush" game...
Besides being a blast to play, I found Crysis multiplayer to be much more skill based than most online FPS's, but that's just me. Most people didn't put in the time to learn how to be strategic with the abilities. There's a strong learning curve to it. It's not pick up and play like COD with a gazillion arcade gimmicks thrown at you with skill relying more on knowing the map or stacking the team. Crysis' multipler failed because of the unforgivable lag. If they fix this for Crysis 3 I can't wait.

Nope, it was a console port. Consoles were the lead platform. They released a patch for the PC a few weeks (months?) later for the DX11 features, and even those were half baked. Crysis 1 still looked much better.
