More Capcom with this time Lost Planet 3 and a whole new trailer of the game. Although we do hope it will be a nice surprise, the way this third installment seems to imitate Dead Space has not won us over yet.
I loved the first both games. LP2 even more than LP1. But for some reason, the spark unlimited reason, this game looks more like a Dead Space with lot's of snow.
Seems like it will be QTE heavy from the material I have seen so far.
The animations of the acrid are just bad. And I mean really baaaaaad, for a LP game. Capcom did a better job with LP1/2. I mean, the acrids were the highlights. Super smooth animated enemies with awesome attacks and movements. Now they look and move like any other game's monsters.
The maincharatcer is so uninteresting. Wayne from LP1 had a bit more style. TBH, Wayne was a pretty boring guy, too. But this one here is even worse.
The Rig thing (the mech. They're not "Vital Suits") also looks incredible unimpressive. I hate the forced cockpit view and the slow movements. Sure, it's a prequel, but I don't care. Producing a prequel to a series doesn't mean making everything look old, boring and generic. I want a fast mech, a killing machine, not a wheel chair for Uncle Sams first day in the life of a hero. In a game where humans colonized planets lightyears away from earth, the technology level for the mechs simply doesn't make any sense to me.
T-Eng is now currency (and not your life ressource anymore) to buy stuff. You do quests and have some kind of an open world. Take everything what the first both games made good and scrap it, lol
I think I will rent this game first, when it's out. No day 1 for me... :(

Not sure how you can make a judgement on the creature animation based on the short clips. I actually think this looks more interesting than the other two( which were pretty mediocre, IMO)...

I really liked the first one (second not that much) especially the MP kept me busy until Lvl 98. Sounds masochistic doens't it ? x-P
It does. I played it for maybe 3-4 hours for the fact that the distorted voices cracked me up, high as a mofo, with a buddy of mine. As soon as that wore off, I stopped.
