Zombie-parkour game Dying Light shows more creatures and new angles of the city. the game is in development at Techland for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and 360 and will release next year.
In screenshots the lighting looks good, with deepness and darkness, proper shadow levels.
BUT in the gameplay video the lighting looks dull. It also looks super similar to Dead Island lighting which is not that good. If not done properly, this could be another Dead Island visuals. It indeed is a game from the same who created Dead Island.
I would like to dream and see them overcoming the major negatives from the past games, and even surpass the expectations. We will see.
Note:
Also we have to take in account that zombie games are extending too much, which could lead soon to an overused trend, which could lead in a loss of interest. Just like it happened with Call of Duty.
