This does not look good. Out-dated visuals combined with WWII Saving-Private- Ryan landing on the beach which has been done so many times now.
Haven't seen it done with mechs though

Epic Fail, where is the miraculous support for the $200 dollar controller?

If it did support that it would have to include an Xbox-to-Xbox 360 controller plug adapter as the original Xbox didn't use USB.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I think you'll be able to use your hands to control the on-screen mech controls in the cockpit similar to using the original game's big controller. So you'll virtually push buttons, flick switches, pull levers etc that you see in the cockpit. Plus you aim the gun turrets with your upper body via Kinect. I'm guessing that maybe you use the joypad to move the mech around and for the guns' triggers. If it not all explained at GamesCom is should be at TGS next month.

By the way, is this one of the most depressing videogame trailers ever or what? Lol!

Well this is supposed to be a mech simulator so if it's anything like the original it'll be a bit more complex than your average shoot-em-up. Having said that I didn't think the original was overly complex to control, the controls were very well done as in easy to get used to.
