GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

A few weeks ago, we were able to play a co-op demo of Journey to the Savage Planet during Gamescom and the embargo on the video we captured there has now been lifted so we can finally put it up. For some reason, the game's creatures and humor reminded us a bit of Stranger's Wrath, which is definitely a good thing, and we had a lot of fun discovering this non final version of the game. It features platforming elements, some shooting and some exploration, with a of funny "gadgets" to use. The game will be available in late January 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Note: Please remember that the version of the game shown here is not final and does not reflect the quality of the finished product.

Thanks for the video.

I had completely forgotten about this game because they had only released a little teaser before that didn't show much. This looks great, it looked great in the teaser as well, but this gives a much better idea of how the game plays. Already added to my Wishlist.

There's a great article about the game with the creative director. Basically, he wants the game to be fun and the adequate amount, not some grindfest or busywork made to make the game last for hundreds of hours. The journalist says the game:

"Journey to the Savage Planet plots its own course, somewhere between Metroid Prime and Dishonored, for a flavour that's very much its own."

EuroGamer - Journey to the Savage Planet is a deeply unfashionable game, in the best possible way:
