GSY Video PS4 Xbox One PC

A few weeks ago, we were able to play a co-op demo of Journey to the Savage Planet during Gamescom and the embargo on the video we captured there has now been lifted so we can finally put it up. For some reason, the game's creatures and humor reminded us a bit of Stranger's Wrath, which is definitely a good thing, and we had a lot of fun discovering this non final version of the game. It features platforming elements, some shooting and some exploration, with a of funny "gadgets" to use. The game will be available in late January 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Note: Please remember that the version of the game shown here is not final and does not reflect the quality of the finished product.

Thanks for the video.

I had completely forgotten about this game because they had only released a little teaser before that didn't show much. This looks great, it looked great in the teaser as well, but this gives a much better idea of how the game plays. Already added to my Wishlist.

There's a great article about the game with the creative director. Basically, he wants the game to be fun and the adequate amount, not some grindfest or busywork made to make the game last for hundreds of hours. The journalist says the game:

"Journey to the Savage Planet plots its own course, somewhere between Metroid Prime and Dishonored, for a flavour that's very much its own."

EuroGamer - Journey to the Savage Planet is a deeply unfashionable game, in the best possible way:

Seth @Sdarts: flying with stormbird mod in Horizon! This is something Guerrilla wanted to have in the game, but it was cut due to limitations of ps4 hardware. (9 Hours ago)

Sdarts Just imagine what those modders and the community would do with a PC version.......... *extreme drooling* (13 Hours ago)

Sdarts The dream is still Bloodborne at 4K60-120fps. I also remember all the cut content that people have enabled and made whole on the PS4 version, just recently another cut boss was playable. (13 Hours ago)

Sdarts @Seth: Thanks. I don't understand Russian - which I presume is the language, but gonna look for translations. About Sony saying to keep PC version in mind, it's really mind blowing, to be sure. (13 Hours ago)

Seth @Sdarts: also according to him, he have speak with few developers working on PS5 title and Sony is warning them to keep PC version in mind. (16 Hours ago)

Sdarts Well, if this means the dream of Bloodborne on PC at 4K@60-120fps is more closer to being a reality, then I'm all in. (16 Hours ago)
