You all know that the Gears of War 3 beta will start on Monday 18 for those who purchased the Epic edition of Bulletstorm while everyone else will have to wait a few more days until April 25. Everyone else? Not quite. We got a chance to have access to the beta early and we captured a bunch of videos for you guys. Enjoy!

The little things on the trashball map make it great, too bas there is still too much grenade spam.

WTF!!

That was a nasty point blank shotgun Drift, in the first vid, that was the sawed shotgun I presume, sounds and looks nasty and awesome.

Lancer seems that have some cool power in it but I think in bursts get better results.

100$ it will be unplayable again after 2 monts cauz the community will discover one glitch after another and will even find ways to reproduce "fixed" glitched from Gears 1 and 2.

I'm more interested in campaign and horde mode + the new beast mode.

I think if this game has the same type of Bulletstorm lighting like in the videos seems like it it will look beautifull, it already looks amazing in this MP vids, I can't imagine how will look in SP.

Bulletstorm lighting methiod is very nice.

Bulletstorm and crysis2 Lighting method is the same Both of them use volumetric lighting.

personally, i think this game should have ended with the second game. first one was great because it really set a new standard for graphics and third person shooters on consoles, but tons of shooters have came out since the first gears and have done much better. the second one was good, not great, and maybe this will be fun to, but i just really lost interest in these games.

Yeah I see what you're saying, I mean it's not as impressive looking or playing as Gears 1 was for it's time, but I'm still really looking forwards to Gears 3. It's one of the only games I'm looking to purchase for my 360 in the near future, MS has really focused too much on that goddamn casual magnet: The Kinect :(

I disagree; Gears 2 blew Gears 1 out of the water really, despite its (mostly online-based) flaws. I'm sure this will have the same effect.

I was able to get a free Gears Of War 3 beta key a few minutes ago thanks to stumbling across some random giveaway blog... So mad that I missed the first giveaway. =/

I'd love to see that but everyone is using the Retro Lancer. It's clearly the best starter gun and makes the shotgun obsolete as soon as you aren't shooting point blank.
