While some are already enjoying next gen sim racing with Forza 5, PS3 owners will be glad to play Gran Turismo 6 on their good old console, starting tomorrow. Sony France hadn't received the game when we contacted them today, so you'll have to be patient before you can see our gameplay videos.

great launch trailer as always.

It doesnt even look like a PS3 game in replays.
I think driveclub will be shit too.. its not the game they first revealed. But I really wish the ps4 was backwards compatible. Its simply not practical to own a new console and keep the old one still plugged in taking up space.
GT6 looks good. Its no forza 5 in terms of visuals. But there's a lot of content there. And if the online actually works this time and the menu's aren't completely fucked like gt5 then i'll pick this up for sure at some point.
maybe PD forgot that you need to go ONLY 60 fps or 30 fps because our displays are @60hz...

You do know the PS2 ceased production in Jan 2013 right?
@r3tr0gam3r1337 He doesn't know what he is saying. I for one never said that. Uncharted 2 is still one of the best looking games of the last 5 years. And I am talking about its complex animation system. No matter how powerful your PC is, talent can't be made from specs. My display is 400hz ^_^
That would be epic. Good thing I did not sold the great ps3.
Edit: can you imagine how GT will look like on ps4? Becuse I can´t
Picked my copy today and what a stunning game for such old hardware. Truly Yamauchi and his team are some kind of programming wizards.
Also worth noting the 60fps is a lie. AFAIK both GT5 and GT6 replays are 30fps. Only the actual race is 60fps. So this 60fps footage isn't really from a retail PS3

Based on what eurogamer have said, they're doing it like battlefield (you can pay to unlock every weapon and attatchment) and other games have done it. Ie. Progress is normal, as it should be, not artificially extended to add value to their pay-for credit packs...but the credit packs are there if you have less time.
If you could deal with the grind of GT5, then you'll be fine dealling with the grind of GT6...since they're the same. Having credit packs avaliable completely external from the game shouldn't really change that...
