The next generation is upon us but Sony's Playstation 3 still has a few things to offer, among which the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 6, still planned for an early December release. Here are two absolutely huge galleries to marvel at the game's graphics. Unfortunately, the 2 new trailers are only available on YouTube.

Beautiful. PS3 still knows, how to kick ass. Im having absolute games heaven these days. I play GTA V and Last of Us and seeing this, Im really thinking about getting this GT6. Thanks.

there is one feature i like the sound of (not coming until later) which lets you use a GPS tracking app to map a real life car journey. which you can then play in-game. how accurate that will be, who knows. but seeing how fast i can take my jorney from hope to work in a bugatti veyron seems pretty damn cool.

gonna wait for either the PS4 port or GT7

I thought the GT Academy demo was graphically inferior to the previous games. I hope they've optimised since then. Very disappointing.

I concur however I do recall thinking the same thing last time they did their academy stuff, having owned prologue I too was dissapointed by the academy demo but GT5's release put any worries at rest. I would think (or hope) that the same would be true here.

UI looks good. I thought it was good in GT5 too though. But this is probably better. Here is the new trailer :

GT6 academy demo looked better overall. This track looks more beautiful and smoke affect improved: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2NG1AQSengIf they can some how avoid gfx glitches it will be great. The game is an accomplishment technically already. In the trailer daytona night racing is also shown.

I don't play racing games anymore totally lost interest, but i seem to remember people saying the UI in GT5 was atrocious.

That gameplay pic of the player behind the yellow Lamborghini is rough. Any word on how many premium models vs standard models? Now that driveclub got pushed back I guess this is my only option for a new racer this fall. I really hope we get a ps4 port soon.

loved GT5...no denying it the cars felt better to race than forza 3 did for me. But I seriously hope they've fixed the menus and the online - both of which I found a complete pain to navigate through, and pretty damn broken. If those are a lot better, cleaner, and simple, and the netcode is actually decent, i'll definitely pick this up at some point

ratio is more 50/50 now i think, although i hear they are not going to distinguish between them in this game, they're just all mixed in with each other.

I never played GT5, but I thought the feeling of the cars was one of the things people were disappointed with? Maybe I am remembering wrong.

There are enough cars in the game not sure why they wanted to have all the cars. I love the variety of tracks and environments

so many people did not understand GT Academy 2013, for one it was not a demo of GT6 it was demonstrating GT6's new physics, it was not made to show off GT6's graphics or sounds either it was in fact a competition much like the other GT Academy contests which unlike actual game demo's cannot be accessed after a certain time period, also by saying GT Academy 2013 was a demo for GT6 (which is just daft) was all the other GT Academy contests demos for GT5 after the game came out, please know the difference between a demo and a contest.

Agreed. What is the use of having 1000 cars that too which do not look great and simply modified version of same car, it makes no sense IMO. There is no need to use it of course but why do they bother simply baffles me.

Have you seen Project Cars? I certainly couldn't care less about a racing game, but it looks a whole helluva lot better than GT6 or Forza or Driveclub and outputs at whatever resolution you damn well please, including 4k.

Yes, of course i know about Project Cars, and the tracks look like ass in comparison. Curious about Assetto Corsa though, been very quiet for a very long time now. Both FM5 & Assetto Corsa beat Project Cars imo...
