Guardian of the Galaxy adds ray tracing to consoles

The surprisingly good Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has just received a new update adding a ray tracing mode on Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. We recorded a bunch of gameplay clips on Xbox Series X so you can see it for yourself. As far as we can tell, image quality is not as sharp as in the quality mode, most certainly due to the lower resolution, but framerate seems to be steady (at 30 fps though).

Ah yes we are already forced to go for cinematic 30fps to get all the features :D

A 2080 Ti usually struggles with ray tracing despite DLSS what did you expect? ;)

It's not about the hardware though, purely depend on devs. 4A RT (60fps) solution with metro is just one example out of many which will come soon.
