Here is another example of a localization that took an unbelievably long time, since the Japanese version of Hot Shots Golf 5 (known as Everybody's Golf World Tour in Europe) was released more than six months ago! How can a Golf game take that long to translate? Anyway, this game is still a lot of fun, much recommended.

Commented on 2008-03-06 17:24:24Just recently they put up a few extra contents that cost money (a new Australia course and 2 new characters, if I'm not mistaken). However, this is stuff they could have added after the US release too.

I own the Japanese version (minna no golf 5), the biggest complaint I've heard from people, and I agree somewhat is there's somewhat less content than previous games, and the unlocking extras systems weren't nearly as cool.

That said, the game is still top notch golfing, and i had a great time playing it.
