Namco just sent us these images and an in-game video of Ace Combat VI, a game you have certainly already played a perhaps appreciated thanks to the very good E3 demo.

This game has no sense of speed though.
The only problem I had with the demo are the rudder controls in conjunction with the acceleration controls are a little skewed. It should be changed so that it remembers the last acceleration that was present, so you weren't forced to keep the accell trigger held down. That helps much more in fast battles.
God I love this series to death! Ace Combat IV was so awesome and I have so many good memories of it. This looks next gen too!! Great work by Namco! Looks amazing
For those who have played the demo; can you go through the clouds and see volumetric fogging?
the thing i dont like about it is!!!! you dont get the feeling you traveling at high speeds.
looks great but the overal pace of the of the game slow for jet flight game.
like just add a few blurred effect like in burn out..
blured effects like in burnout... lol its supposed to be realistic... now blackouts and redouts yet but burnout style blurs not thank you
and yes i agree the sense of speed at 2000ft isnt going to be much, but if i've got an f16 doing max speed 100ft from the ground i should be feeling the speed

I love the 3 views... but wheres the flyby view? i used to love doing that when i wasnt busy killing baddies
i mean if other useless cams are their like the missle cam (hold in the missle button after shooting) then why not the flyby cam... that thing was intense... i forget the old game that used to have it... think it was back on the xbox1

When you are 10km above ground you obviously don't feel speed, but at 1km you actually feel how incredibly fast planes are. I didn't get that feeling from the video.
Looks excellent. I love flight sims on the PC and usually strive for as much realism as possible, especially when Im looking like a geek in front of my family with a big daft joystick and a trackir on my head but this title will be my guilty little secret stash of arcade goodness on my 360 :)

Honestly does seem rather slow and boring at hign altitude, but the part where they shot down the bridge, that seemed pretty realistic speed wise.
