Daamn thats so brutal!! Its gonna be twice as hard as the first game.
Only thing I dont like about the game is the sound effects, not enough variation. Ching Ching Ching, Splat Ching Splat Splat. After several hours of play thats gonna get quite annoying, and I'll want to play my own music.
Love the move, when he's running up the wall and sliecing the ne standing below him in two (it's at 0:06). Blood doesn't look stupid to me. It'll be like GoW for me: Omg, did you see that? I just bowed him and his brain actually splattered all over the ceiling above him.
And it's funning at 60 fps, and I'm sure they got enough recources to enable vsync. Besides I didn't see any screen tearing...

This and the original are two different games, so you can't say for sure. I mean, i hope that this will be as great as NG, and it probably will be, but we can't be sure. Maybe Itagaki has just gone cold turkey after a 20 year long bender and simply can't make good games any more? Kind of unlikely and you probably won't get my point anyways, but you don't know if NG2 is any good and neither do i :)

From what we've seen, NG2 looks a lot like NG but with minor additions and faster gameplay. Assumptions can be made that at least the gameplay will be fantastic. It's not like they are straying from the course and giving us a reason to doubt them.

His first sentence could be talking about either game, and he wouldn't be wrong in saying that NG2 has silky smooth execution even if he didn't play it. If he hasn't played it, then his second sentence is in reference to the first one, and you can't argue that for him, NG has the best fighting mechanics of any action adv that he has played.

The ANIMATION looks smooth, the GRAPHICS might look good (subjective experience) but we don't know shit about how it will play yet. Like i said, it's very unlikely to suck but we can't know until at least a demo is available or some one tests it and forms an opinion. That's all i'm saying :)
Just for the sake of it i even have an example. Devil may Cry. DMC was a wonderful game but it's sequel sucked so hard that a black hole seems insignificant by comparison. Then they rectified it in part 3 but never mind that.
