Funcom has released some DX10 goodies from Age Of Conan, just note that they are all of course from the PC version. This MMORPG was recently delayed, now having an October release date on PC and unknown date for the X360 version.
This is another one of those "lets just throw everything in this scene and just let them upgrade their PC" sort of game.
Dithered alpha on the wings and blurry textures spell DX10 allright. Cant wait to waste 2000€ on upgrades to play this. I'm rushing to the store as I type!
Or, how about I look at a game like Kameo and GoW that fill my screen with beautiful high resolution parallax mapped castle walls at a steady 30fps on the lowly pitiful 360 and its DX9 crappiness. kthx!

Or how about you don't actually need to upgrade your PC to play this..plus it's coming out on 360? Poor PC gaming, always the butt end of everyones insults around here.
If you upgrade your PC this year, it's to play Crysis, not Conan!

..your point being? You can not possibly enjoy both? This game is coming to 360, so what's with all the hate? No one came in here throwing around the PC gaming card like it was some how superior, but the console defense forces kicked in anyway.
Just say'n, you'll be able to play this game on dated hardware, because PC software scales..and this is a 360 game, so I'm not sure what the big deal is.
Plus, Windows developement and 360 developement is closely related, in a way. It's not some strange coincidence that we're getting all these PC ports. Love for Windows, as a gaming platform, might as well be love for the Xbox platform.
