That's it, the blue hedgehog, Sega's big shot Sonic will be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. After endless speculation, Masahiro Sakurai drops another bombshell and makes me shout "OMG" in the middle of the night. Three updates (!) are available on the official website. It is getting hammered pretty badly. Images and videos inside - do not miss'em!

i always thought SSB was a Nintendo characters only deal? funny..sega gets owned by Nintendo..AGAIN. will it ever stop?

Easy to see this comming with that crappy Olympics game coming out. Meh doesn't make this game anymore than just Melee still looks dull and uninteresting like most Wii games

Don't be so hasty to dismiss the Olympics game, it's being done by Decathlete/Athlete Kings and Winter Heat veterans. Those games were ACE and they didn't even have Sonic in them.

Awesome. Joystiq ran it like it could still be a fake, but it's tons more believable than Halo DS (even that's pretty real looking).

Solid Snake first appeared in Metal Gear for the NES.

It actually really pisses me off that Sonic is in the game. Snake has some relevance, but sonic is in no way a nintendo character. He looks like a fun character to use, but it's just stupid to have him in the game.
