More than a month without a Final Smash, we know a new one today on the official Super Smash Bros. Brawl website. It is Rocketbarrel Barrage from Diddy Kong. With two popguns and rocketbarrels, he ascend to the sky and fires a barrage of explosions at his opponents. The angles can be changed by the player with a little bit of practice. The peanuts left on the battlefield can be eaten to replenish some vitality. Diddy's expression is fearsome!

That soul-less expression is kind of scary. I wonder how these final smash moves will affect tournament play. If they are ridiculously powerful moves then I’ll just leave them on for playing with friends.

Hopefully, the Final Smash item can be removed in the options, as items can. I think Diddy's one is boring to be honest, why no team with Dixie Kong? It could have been a cool character a la Ice Climbers but no, they gave us an FS with N64 Donkey Kong in mind (crappy) and forgot the SNES Country era. I hope we get to play on a SNES-inspired stage at least.
