Ubi released these images of Far Cry Instincts Predator, which has alot to prove after the phenomenal graphics in Ubi's Rainbow Six: Vegas and Ghost Recon AW. The water looks great, but what about the rest? The game is supposed to come out in late March, so it's time for some extra anti-aliasing. They also confirmed that the map editor is in the game, and that the much beloved multiplayer mode "Predator" will make it's way to the Xbox 360 version.
Update: Attract mode trailer added.

Commented on 2006-03-06 21:25:31This looks ....eh....by the way. But then again I wasn't very thrilled about the original. It seemed like just another run & gun fps. I could be wrong though.

Commented on 2006-03-06 23:05:32Maybe they'll be weighing the success of this game to see if they should bring crysis to the 360 perhaps?

Commented on 2006-03-07 04:41:51 In reply to futromurzynaAlso how much of the cpu being used is irelevant. What matters is how EFFICIANTLY they are using that power. One great example would be Half-Life2 vs Halo for PC. On my PC I can run HL2 at max everything with hardly a hic up in sight but Halo at medium makes my PC chug. The reason is poor coding, it makes Halo very inafficiant so it requires more cpu power even though it is obviously drastickly inferior to HL2. The codeing on HL2 is well done mostly since it was built for the PC and isnt a port wich makes its complex algorithums run more efficiantly and require less power to do more work than Halo. So please stop useing terms like "next-gen", stop talking about what a dev said if you dont understand it, and stop talking about cpu usage. Sorry for the rant but there you go.
