The visuals arent all that impressive in the screenshots. Almost as if they took a step backwards from Dirt 2. The muted colors dont help. I dont know why developers think it adds atmosphere to their games. Give me real world colors, for Gods sake, and some realistic lighting.

i really dont like this engine all that much really, or at least the guys who use it. it feels like the game has been thrown into photoshop, had it's colours desaturated, had a sepia tone added and then increased the contrast to blinding. it just doesnt look particularly nice. but i guess the stylistic choice gets round them trying to make it look real.
